Question: What were you feeling when your husband was taken? Answer: I was angered and very scared. I did not know whether if we would ever see my husband again
Question: What does the holocaust mean to you? Answer: I feel as if this was just horrendously wrong time period where people had no clue what they were doing. No person in there right mind could do that.
Question: Was it hard to keep fighting for your life? Answer: There were many days where I just wanted to give up but my family and my visa to America kept me going. I knew that if I gave up then the Germans would have won and that wasn't happening.
Question: If you could talk to Hitler right now what would you say to him? Answer: I would ask him what he was thinking that time period. That was horrific and heartbreaking to know that someone is capable of doing that.
Question: Why wouldn't you try to escape during the holocaust? Answer: Because I figured the punishment for escaping would be far worse than what was already going to happen. I dreamt about escaping but I could never do it
